Since we’ve been using Slack for communication inside our team, I’ve started to play with different integrations. There are two ways to integrate Slack with Nagios-based monitoring systems. The first one is to use general connectors and write a custom script. The second one is to use the built-in Slack bot for Nagios. This option is better, because it gives a better integration level. In Slack, the documentation only describes how to setup this bot for Nagios or Icinga1 and there is nothing about Icinga2.
Integrate Slack and Icinga2

A couple of weeks ago, we suspended our social network service for teens, which was based on Apache Cassandra, and we aim to keep that service in read-only state for as long as we can. In the mean time, our priority is moving forward with our EDU product, which uses Cassandra as storage for raw data. Those two keyspaces will become incompatible soon, in terms of the partitioners and data models used, resulting in different performance issues and bottlenecks. To make the retired glogster.com site independent from the main infrastructure, its data (keyspace) needs to be migrated to another Cassandra cluster.
It all begins here...
